Pauline's visit to Dallas and Atlanta

Pauline was an incredible help during her 2 week stay in Dallas with us. Kloey had a lot of trouble with eating and she helped us through this rough patch. Unfortunately there was a lot of screaming from Kloey but she will soon be all smiles when she sees Nana again to thank her.

On the way back from Atlanta

Kloey in October 2010

Kloey is starting to look more and more like a little girl. Her expressions are starting to show and personality coming soon.  She is a non stop kicker...loves to move or at least make you move while holding her. She doesn't like to stay in one place very long.

She reminds me of a Charlie Brown character sleeping here

Adventures of Kloey begin

Kloey is amazing. Our first child and she definitely keeps us on our toes. She's a screamer so we are quickly trying to figure out what she needs to be happy.

I tried out the sling that used to Diane's.  We ended up using the Bjorn more.
She's like a little lady bug on a leaf.
Malua wanting to play...soon Kloey will be old enough.

Catch Up... Kloey Vienna is here!!

Kloey is here! Yes, that happened almost 4 months ago but as new parents we have been a bit overwhelmed. So to review....

On September 10th, 2010 my water broke at home. My mom and Jason were in Dallas as well so we were off to the hospital.

After confirmation that everything was good to go..meaning it was time to meet Kloey very soon, we settled into the Labor and Delivery Room at Baylor University Hospital.

Many hours later Kloey Vienna Drewsen arrived at 1:01am on Saturday, September 11th, 2010!

Within 24hours of her birth things unfortunately took a bad turn. She was admitted to NICU for high levels of Bilirubin which caused sever Jaundice. My blood type of O- and her type of A- were not getting along. If she did not get better quickly we were looking at having to do a blood transfusion.

Luckily she eventually got better and after 5 days in NICU we were able to bring her home.

Now that Kloey was finnaly home we could settle in and Malua could get used to her new baby sister
